Frosinone Stadium
The goal of the renovation and completion of the Benito Stirpe stadium in Frosinone, also known as the Casaleno stadium, was to “ferry” the current sports complex, which was built in the early 1970s, toward a design that adhered to the new stadium concept. The task was to create, design, and construct completely covered curves and grandstands in order to redesign, renovate, and improve the existing areas while adapting them to international avant-garde standards in order to increase comfort and support for plant users. Together with the improvement of the historical legacy and the existing structure, the development of new spaces for sporting events has gone hand in hand, all made possible by a suitable and up-to-date system of plant machinery.
There are 16,500 individual seats available in the new Benito Stirpe stadium, which is split into 5 sectors. Two refreshment areas and a conference room have been added to the areas made specifically for athletes working in the industry, such as locker rooms and press rooms. To make the plant usable every day of the week, commercial premises and services capable of meeting the needs of the local community and an efficient system of parking and traffic were integrated into the project.
