Varese Stadium
The new Varese Stadium will be a state-of-the-art, multifunctional sports facility designed to meet FIFA, UEFA, and CONI standards. This modern stadium will cater to international matches, prioritizing spectator comfort and attracting a family-oriented audience with effective safety measures.
The stadium’s concept includes a capacity of 12,000 seats, expandable if needed, divided into five sectors with independent access and exits. Each sector is equipped with its own refreshment points and services, all compliant with regulatory specifications. In accordance with FIGC and UEFA regulations, the playing field maintains its current position and features standard dimensions.
Access to the field is provided through a central tunnel near the benches, directly connected to the locker rooms via dedicated passages. A continuous transparent fence, as required by regulations, separates the field from the stands and includes access points for each sector.
All stands are covered and situated very close to the playing field, ensuring a minimal distance between the stands and the field lines, both at the ends and the sides. This proximity guarantees a perfect and engaging view of the sporting event.
The stadium’s various functions are primarily dedicated to supporting football and the associated sports club. The facility will house a highly qualified multidisciplinary medical center specializing in sports medicine, a gym with training courts for basketball, multidisciplinary gyms with volleyball courts and multipurpose fields, and a wellness and aesthetic pathway. Additionally, the stadium will feature a hospitality area, lodging/student accommodations, office spaces, bars and restaurants, and retail facilities catering to the sports world.
As stipulated by CONI regulations, accessibility for users with disabilities is guaranteed across all sectors of the stadium. The large elevated platform, which serves as the entrance to the stands and curves, is accessible via large ramps and elevators.
