On 05/10/2023, an update of the city’s City of Sports project was presented to the Ferentino Municipal Administration. The name City of Sports originates from the original project already presented in 2014 of which the present one represents an evolution. The project in its entirety includes not only a state-of-the-art Stadium, developed on the directions of Uefa, FIGC and CONI, but also 11 and 8-a-side soccer fields, multipurpose courts for basketball, volleyball, tennis and padel courts. To all this should be added a running and cycling route and other outdoor areas to support sports, events and other cultural activities, as well as surfaces with various uses.
